Liebherr 132 EC-H Vehicle Model
Modeling/Texturing/Rigging/Physics for Vehicle Simulation
The Liebherr 132 EC-H was produced for simulation purposes for Serious labs and ITI. I modeled it using Lightwave/3dsMAX and published to the Unity Engine. As with many of SLI's vehicles we used a medium poly approach with weighted normals to allow for realistic silhouettes and CAD accurate geometry for simulation.
The biggest challenge with this vehicle was modular nature of the vehicle, as depending on the site the crane could be configured into many different forms. All of which had to function as intended with the vehicle and load physics.
