Modeling/Texturing/Rigging/Physics for Vehicle Simulation

The Tadano GR1000XL Crane Model was produced for Serious Labs and the ITI Project. The intention was to create a highly accurate model for use in VR Training Simulations. The level of accuracy needed was quite the challenge as many of the controls needed to physically represented and able to be interacted with while the user was in VR, and the simulation of the crane lifting loads needed the vehicle to be almost exactly the same structurally as the real world vehicle.
